%X We present a method fot the automatic detection of the craniometric points in video based skull images. The method assumes that skull images are in frontal view and erect posture of the head. An acquisition protocol is considered to facilitate the segmentation process. Although the method uses simple algorithms of the Image Processing theory, it has shown good results for non-damage skulls and will be very useful in the craniofacial identification process.
